REVIEW-Heart of the Hunted by Viola Grace #4stars

Bree has worked for the agricultural department on Imrahl until this week. She has been identified as a late-blooming breeder and is now shopping for knickknacks to fill her new apartment.

When her escort turns kidnapper and she is dropped on an alien world, running is her only option.

Arix is a master tracker as well as a hunter. When one of the precious breeders is taken, he is assigned to bring her home.

He will hunt her, he will find her, and he will bring her home.

REVIEW:
"Heart of the Hunted" by Viola Grace is a great quick read that has a great sci-fi plot with a very hot and sensual romance.
Hunter Arix has been tasked with finding a kidnapped human woman. What Hunter Arix doesn't count on is his own reaction to Bree. Bree hasn't had any interest in any of the males on her new planet and finding out she has to live at the Breeder compound wasn't the best news but she's practical and knows how to make the best out of a bad situation, even when she's kidnapped. From the moment Hunter Arix comes to her rescue she knows there's something about him, even if she can't see him.
The chemistry between Arix and Bree enhances the plot of this story. My only complaint is that it just ended too soon. Viola Grace really does have a very good sci-fi series.

REVIEW- Untrained Fascination by Viola Grace #4stars

Like thousands of humans, Lianne works for the Rrassic on a world she didn’t know existed. A friend stuck her neck out during registration and hid Lianne’s compatibility with the Rrassic under the guise of an existing allergy to cats.

An accident at a public event made Lianne run into the action, and a few small cuts left enough of her at the scene to give the hunters a trail to follow.

Sorrok selected Lianne as a possible mate back on Earth, but he wasn’t the one to collect her during the final extraction, so he was sure that someone else would have found their way into her bed.

His delight meets feral possessiveness, and while he changes her life, he makes sure that there is a place for him in it.

Purchase Link:

REVIEW:
This quick, sensual, and hot read packaged so nicely in the realm of Science Fiction Romance is well worth the read. Sorrock and Lianne not only have chemistry but animal magnetism. Lianne is an independent woman who is trying to make the best out of a bad situation but has no interest in being a breeder. When the choice is made for her, she adapts but a Hunter named Sorrock is not making it easy on her hormones. Sorrock is an alien species; a Hunter, and his sights are set of Lianne. Their journey to finding each other is one heck of a ride and it's a hot hot one at that. I recommend this book/series by Viola Grace.

Bound to the overseer by cuffs that keep her at his beck and call, Isabella gives him the details on human interaction while changing plans for her people with minuscule nudges.

Iktabi has been in charge of Imrahl since it became a viable outpost. Waiting for his own mate has been an exercise in patience. When Isabella ends up in his office, he knows his match when he sees it, but the paperwork is a nightmare

Purchase Link:

REVIEW:
If Science Fiction is one's preference then "Overseer's Chain" by Viola Grace is the book to read. Deep in space, an alien race needs women to help their dying race. Isabella Thems is given the job as an assessor because of her talent for classifying people into the job that will best suit them. When she oversteps, she is sent to the Overseer who decides that rather than punish her, he will make her his personal assistant. Isabella finds herself excelling at her job as well as her attraction to Iktabi, the Overseer. What Iktabi, who is the leader of his people, doesn't expect is his attraction to Isabella. She ignites more than interest.
The chemistry between Isabella and Iktabi is 'high flying'. That chemistry really helps the story unfold and the author did a wonderful job with the world she's created. It is a book and author worth getting interested in.

REVIEW- Written In The Ruby (Creatures of Myth) by Ravyn Wilde #4stars

Nicole Martin is a romance author. She likes her privacy and her new little house in the Cascade Mountains. Realizing that her sexy next-door neighbor, Zane, is a complication she doesn’t need in her life, she struggles to keep her distance. But she can’t help using him as inspiration in her books.

Zane Patrick is a vampire who just wants to be left alone to raise his horses, and live as normally as possible. Refusing the head of the Absolute Sentinel Council’s request to become the Vampire Sentinel for the Pacific Northwest, this two-hundred-and-fifty-year-old vamp, doesn’t want to get involved with all the politics of his species or the Others. In fact, the one threat to his peaceful, sane existence just bought the house next door.

When Nicole is threatened by two men, Zane struggles to protect her. Until an ancient, mystifying ruby, once owned by Catherine the Great, binds the two together in ways neither wanted, or imagined. If Zane can’t keep Nicky safe, they may not live through the next few days.

***This book includes strong language, mature themes, and sexual content, it is not intended for readers under the age of 18.***

REVIEW:
Ravyn Wilde has got a pretty good story with "Written in Ruby". There were lots of good parts within the story where I felt like I was on the ride and it kept me reading. Nicole and Zane had great chemistry and they both sizzle once they come together.
Nicole Martin is a romance author who likes her solitude. She loves writing stories but her neighbor Zane, isn't the most friendliest of neighbors. No matter how polite and nice she is, Zane keeps a wall between them. However, Zane isn't looking for romance, friendship, or even a friendly "hello" from a mere human woman who stirs way too many feelings in his vampire heart. When her life is threatened, Zane finds himself falling for Nicole as he protects her but a mystic ruby may cut his life short if he fails to protect her.
This is a great story and the author did quite well with her take on a vampire romance.

When the archangel Michael is forced to rely on his estranged brother Gabriel for help after a demon attack goes wrong, Gabriel places him before the throne of God for healing. The father is displeased about some of Michael's behavior as of late and casts them both out of heaven until they pay their penance.

Jahi is a demonic seductress who uses sex to steal people's souls. It’s not exactly her dream job, but it keeps her boss at bay, until a chance meeting with Michael changes her fate forever.

Purchase Link:

REVIEW:
"Never judge a book by its cover" is but one of the themes that echo throughout Joel Crofoot's "Michael's Passion". I loved this book and I highly recommend this adventure that is full of passion, seduction, and explosive chemistry.
Jahi is a demon who for thousands of years has been enslaved and has had to pay for what little freedom she has with her body and blood. One day while flying about,as her luck would have it, an Archangel has given chase and not just any Archangel, but Michael. Pretty sure she's going to be killed she doesn't plan on falling in love with him.
Michael has never met a challenge he couldn't overcome until he gives chase to a demon with stunning blue eyes. He knows there's something different about Jahi and at first he just wants to see how he can help her. The more time he spends with her though; the faster he's falling for her. However, he isn't the only one after Jahi.
I loved this book and this is a great start to a great series. I loved how the characters had their own dynamics and personalities as well as they were cast into a strong story. I'm usually not huge on angel books but the Crofoot books are a great.

REVIEW:

I have loved reading Jessica Coulter Smith's Intergalactic Brides Series and her latest book, "Celeste and the Alien Bartender" is the hottest one yet. Celeste is an ex sex slave who has been separated from her baby and sent back to Earth and a romance is the last thing on her list of priorities. Zanar owns a successful bar and isn't expecting to find his forever mate until Celeste ends up in his bar. What starts as a friendship deepens quite quickly into a hot romance. REVIEW:

"Wicked For You" by Erzabet Bishop is a quickie that is hot, sensual, sweet, and has a great story. Carrick and Sage's animal magnetism is off the charts and will have the reader wanting more.
Carrick is alpha for his clan and must marry but he's all but given up on finding his mate until he finds her during a rescue mission. Her life is in danger and she's going to fight tooth and claw to protect her heart from an alpha wolf no matter how instant her attraction to him is.
Sage is a wild cat; literally,  she's a Mountain Lion and besides baking, running Hot Whips is her passion. Bound by pack law to attend a wolf ball for the Alpha to choose his mate.

The Westmore Wolves Series  by Erzabet Bishop is hawt cha cha cha! Sexy just doesn't even do them justice and the heroines are relatable females that any woman can identify with and not some runway model waifs playing damsels. I highly recommend this book and series to be added to your reading library.

REVIEW- Burning For You (Westmore Wolves Book 3) By Erzabet Bishop #4stars

Where there’s smoke, there’s dragon fire.

Ordinary girl. Extraordinary fate.

Violet Winters is having a less than perfect day. Her parents are meddling with her love life (again), her wintery magic is kaput and her vivid dreams are coming far too close to reality. When she falls through the ice after seeing her fiancé all close and snuggly with a fellow polar bear, all bets are off. Is she better off dead or will she get another chance at life when a Grimare angel rescues her from her chosen fate?

Fire meets ice and passions ignite.

Dante is a dragon on a mission: fight the string of strange fires springing up around Westmore and find a mate. When his Captain decides to have the men pose for social media shots to garner attention for the station, Dante finds himself in the middle of a steady stream of women after his special strategically placed “fire hose.”

At Hot Whips Café to haggle with the owner for counter space for their new firemen calendar, he meets a woman who sets his inner scales on fire. Can he save her from the machinations of the Fates or will she die a second time by the very threat Dante fights against?

A dragon’s panty melting kiss may just be the wow this curvy girl needs.

REVIEW:

This book is a great read. It is sexy, sultry, firey-literally, and the story is sweet. Violet has always been treated as if she has no value and it isn't until she dies that she believes she was meant for more. Dante is one of the hottest firefighters alive and his dragon is aching for a mate. When the sexiest dragon alive sees Violet; it's an instant attraction that engulfs and burns them both with just one look. I adored reading this book and I would love to get my hands on one of those calendars.

REVIEW- Mistletoe Kisses (Westmore Wolves Book 5) By Erzabet Bishop #4stars

With some gifts, it’s all about the unwrapping...

A Westmore Story

Jess is looking forward to a holiday season of saving puppies and working at the animal shelter. With her new sister-in-law taking over the Yuletide Gathering, it’s run for the hills or wind up covered in glitter. What she doesn’t anticipate is her brother lining up yet another in a long string of bodyguards. She might be a wolf that can’t shift, but that doesn’t mean she needs anyone’s protection. When things heat up during the festivities, she finds herself face to face with the one man who just might hold the key to her heart.

It was supposed to be a two-week Ops for ridding the world of hybrid wolves, not a babysitting gig for the spoiled sister of the Westmore Pack Alpha. But when Thorne sets eyes on the curvy brunette, he finds a fierce beauty with a soft interior just begging to be tamed, and he’s just the gargoyle to do it.

REVIEW:

Mistletoe Kisses is a great short read! I absolutely adored the heroine, Jess who is a great mix of relatable sweetheart with tough girl that can stand on her own two feet. I also loved our bad boy gargoyle hero who is a great companion to Jess and not some scene-stealing hog. Erzabet Bishop has created a lovely story that snares the reader from the first few pages and has staying until the end of the ride. My only critique is that I wish it hadn't been such a quick read. I wanted to know more about Thorne and didn't want it to end. Guess I'll be getting the Westmore Wolves Series. Be sure to get this sexy adventurous quickie.

REVIEW:

This book is not just a book but an experience to read. It is so much more than a sensual, sexy, sci-fi thriller, and sweet story. This book by Carys Weldon was really unexpected; a wonderful surprise in the direction the story went. Rick and Mira's chemistry was great as was their story. The story never went the direction I thought it was but the direction ended up being the "right" one. It's definitely a book to read and Carys Weldon is an author PNR fans will want to get to know.

NEW REVIEW: The Pirate's Revenge by Sarita Leone

Still grieving the loss of her father, Mary Sweet finds solace strolling the seashore at Quinn Beach. There she meets a handsome stranger who seems to share her sadness. He is utterly alone in the world, and praying to assuage his grief with this change of scenery.

Revenge is a strong motivator, especially for a man who's been mistreated his whole life. The promise of pirate's gold colors Henry Titchell’s view--yet not so much that he can't see the beauty in Miss Mary Sweet. But while Henry is a stranger to Lobster Cove, he has not “stumbled” upon the place as he would have Mary believe. Instead he seeks retribution rather than rest

When Mary realizes the newcomer is not who he seems, will her heart be willing to forgive his sins?

REVIEW:
RATING: 4 Stars

When I’m looking at historical fiction/romance, and see a title that mentions ‘pirates’, I have to admit I think first of action-adventure, and ships at sea.  Well, Leone’s ‘Pirate’s Revenge’ isn’t like that, but I definitely was NOT disappointed.  This book is a warm and touching love story, about two sad souls on a small island, during the historical age of piracy, but with no dramatic battles.

In the village of Lobster Cove, along Quinn Beach, Mary Sweet is mourning for her recently deceased father, sad enough that she sometimes feels a need to get away from her family and her household chores, and spend time on the quiet beach.  One day there, she meets another sad individual strolling by. Henry Titchell says little about himself, his family, his past, or where he came from, telling Mary only that he is completely alone. He has no family, no home, nothing.  Mary is so sympathetic to his situation that she doesn’t worry much about details. She has no idea that he’s actually seeking retribution for what he’s lost, some revenge for his suffering, and believes he can find it in Lobster Cove.

Henry finds a job, including food and living quarters, with the local blacksmith, and gradually settles in.  Some residents have questions about his intentions, but his hard work and quiet behavior soon earn him acceptance.  Mary becomes a friend, sharing conversations either down on the beach, or outside her family home; her mother, sister, and brothers like him too.  He asks occasional questions, but not enough to cause trouble; most of the details about what he is actually seeking are revealed only in his thoughts.  But, as his relationship with Mary grows, he begins to question himself.  Which is worth more, a pirate treasure and revenge for all he has suffered, or this relationship?  Will he lose everything when she learns why he really came to Lobster Cove?

This is a nice romantic tale about two attractive, interesting individuals who finally have a chance at the happiness of love, in a quiet historical setting.  I found it well-written, and very enjoyable, definitely worth a 4 Star rating.

I am grateful for the reviewer’s copy I received.

REVIEW:
RATING: 4 Stars

‘I Knew You Were Trouble’ is, overall, a comfortable, relaxing, “feel-good” romance.  The couple at the center of the story, Kaia McCrae and Julian Rodriguez, are interesting and, for the most part, sympathetic characters.  Julian is at the head of a growing music company, where Kaia has worked ever since college, starting with an internship.  Their romance actually goes back almost that long.

Things then were beautiful, both passionate and compassionate, friendly and trusting, and they were both excited about their coming child.  But when Kaia lost the baby, things crumbled, neither of them understanding what the other needed or felt, and the romance died.  Kaia valued her professional position, and Julian valued her competence, so she stayed at her job.  Their work relationship was friendly, and they both told everyone that things were platonic, neither one acknowledging the attraction that remained.  Then, one year, Julian decides not to go home for Christmas, because of work, and Kaia invites him to spend a few days of the holiday with her and her family, only platonic, of course.  Afterwards, they both head across country to spend some time with Julian’s family, again platonic, officially.

The family relationships show a lot about both Julian and Kaia, their pasts and their hopes for the future. And many relatives, on both sides, hope the pair will get back together.  But can these two cope with their painful memories and shed their fears enough to begin rebuilding what they’d lost?

Most of the relatives, and co-workers, are pleasant, likeable people (with a few very minor exceptions), and all the familiar family and holiday scenes generate a comfortable feeling I think most readers will recognize and enjoy.  Once you’re past the introductions to Kaia and Julian, I think it would be difficult not to understand and sympathize with their individual hopes and dreams. All of this has been constructed neatly enough for most readers to develop some hopes for them as well.

There are a few things about the family situations that I would have liked to read more about, and some sequences I wish were longer, but overall, reading this story was an enjoyable experience.  I rate ‘I Knew You Were Trouble’ as worth 4 stars, and am very grateful for the reviewer’s copy I was sent.
