REVIEW: Immortal Destiny by Amy Armstrong #Vampires #PNR

Leila Andrews hates vampires—unfortunately, she lives in a town overrun with them.

Leila has been a resident of Meadowview, Nebraska since she was five years old, but the first five years of her life are a mystery. Her mother—the only person who could have told her about her roots has long since passed away so Leila has come to terms with the fact that she might never know where she came from.

When the Master of the local vampire nest summons Leila to his mansion to make a routine blood donation, she meets the attractive and arrogant vampire Tomas Ivanov who appears instantly captivated by her. Leila’s instinct is to stay far away from the sexy vampire, but when she overhears the master talking about her, it seems he knows more about her past than he’s willing to divulge. The only way she can find out what he knows is to ask him directly, but just how much can she trust the enigmatic vampire? The more Leila discovers about her history, the more her life spirals out of control. She soon finds herself out of her depth and needs help from the one source she never thought she would turn to—a vampire. She might have to trust Tomas with her life after all, but can she trust him with her heart?

REVIEW:
RATING: 3.5 Stars

Amy Armstrong's Immortal Destiny is a sweet and passionate read. Although it is a quick read, it is a great story. The chemistry between Tomas and Leila is magnetic. My only critique is that the story is a quick one and I hope that Ms.Armstrong writes more book starring Tomas and Leila. She's created a delightful Amuse-bouche with Immortal Destiny and I can't wait for the main course.

REVIEW: Club Beam (Beyond Fairytales series) by Erzabet Bishop

In the Shadow World, nothing is as it seems.

Detective Sydney Marr is having a very bad day. Her boss is on the warpath, she’s being treated for a werewolf bite, and her current case has hit a dead end. When her friend Erika talks Syd into going with her to Club Beam, she jumps at the chance, even if it means spending an evening without her spell arsenal. A high-class vampire bar and fetish club, Club Beam is fantasy made real.

Club owner and Dom Gideon Raines spies the red-haired beauty and is transfixed. A fight against a skillful murderer brings war for fae and vampire alike. Sometimes when you play with monsters, the monsters play back.

REVIEW:
RATING: 4 Stars

Club Beam is one heck of a read. I loved it. LOVED IT. I highly recommend this book. It's got some hawt sauce bad boys and an outstanding story. This is definitely a leap and bound from the fairy tale books we had as kids. Club Beam's Dom Gideon Raines is nothing but sin on a stick ladies and the chemistry between him and Sydney is seductive and electrifying. The tag line, "When you play with monsters, sometimes they play back" is an understatement. I don't want to give the book away, but this is a MUST read and a MUST add to your TBR lists. Hot, entertaining, funny in parts, sad in a few, and it's a thrill ride you want to be on!
