REVIEW: The Mating Ritual by Tory Richards

Toni, a woman on the run for her life, finds safety with the descendants of a legendary creature living deep in the mountains. An ancient mating ritual with their leader, Cormac, protects her from being claimed and mated by the other males. She gradually falls for him, but can she give up her old way of life to stay with him in the mountains?

REVIEW:
RATING: 3.5 Stars

This quick inferno of a read is well worth it. This is NOT "Harry and the Hendersons" or your usual Sasquatch encounter. This is a mere God of a rugged man named Cormac who is sure to ignite everyone's favorite pair of skivvies when they read "The Mating Ritual" by Tory Richards. The story starts out pretty simple enough-Toni is finally getting a great vacay way up in mountain country after a murder trial and when her civic duty comes to bite her in the butt for it, she's running for her life until Cormac intervenes but one look at Toni and he knows she's his. This book had A LOT OF "Oh my God, get me to the cold shower" scenes but it's beautifully blended with story and the chemistry of both Cormac and Toni. The only thing I hated-the length is so short. I would have loved to have gotten more but all in all it was a very good read.
