Vampires and Witches: Are they mythical creatures or something that walks amongst us every day without our knowledge?
To Raven, a twenty-five-year-old, extremely sheltered woman, they are nothing more than something to be read about in a book. To Dragon, an eight hundred-year-old vampire, they are a way of life.
Raven truly believes she is going mad. Erotic dreams fill her nights, causing her to question her sanity by the light of day. They lead her into a world she never knew existed and a heritage that can only be found in nightmares.
Dragon wants nothing more than to own the mortal soul of the beautiful Raven, a woman who can make his ancient scars disappear, proof that she is far from mortal.
Together they seek out the dark heritage of her past. What they find is much more than either of them bargained for. A destiny lies at her doorstep, one that could bring her salvation and an eternity at his side. Or, it could seal her fate and rip her from his world forever.

I really wanted to like this book but I found it hard to get through the
first five chapters. I love the premise of the story but I just
couldn't get into it and I really wanted to. I love vampire romance
novels but this one just fell flat with me.

Stupid. Careless. Jacie has called herself ten times a fool for falling for Myro's charms. Now she's pregnant and alone, and she's been sent to a world unlike her own.
When Barimere, a tall, sexy hunk of alien male, meets her at the shuttle station on his world, Jacie feels the stirrings of desire -- even though that's what got her into this mess in the first place. But there's something about Barimere that's different, and she doesn't mean the scars on his face.
Barimere agrees to guard Jacie from unwanted attention and possible abduction. But one look at her and her demented fur ball pet, and he wonders if he's insane to accept the mission. He knows a woman like her would never look twice at a scarred male like him, but that doesn't stop his body from instantly reacting to her beauty and charm.
A pregnancy that is more than what it seems, and a woman determined to find love on an alien world is more adventure than the taciturn warrior has bargained for. Barimere is all for Jacie finding a mate and getting herself out from under his nose. Except for some odd reason he'd like to tear apart any male who looks her way, and beat the living hell out of anyone who tries to hurt her.
An alien warrior intent on fighting his attraction. A human female determined to bring him to his knees. What could possibly go wrong?

Aside from it's length, "Jacie and the ALien Bodyguard" by Jessia
Coulter Smith was a very sweet and endearing read. Jacie and Barimere's
story reminds us that beauty isn't always what's on the outside and
perfection has many facets that isn't always what society thinks. This
story forces the reader to see deeper and get to the heart of the
dynamics of both Jacie and Barimere. Very good read and I recommend it.

I really liked the characters and the premise of this story but it was
just okay with me. I didn't find anything that was erotic about it but I
am anxious to read books in the series. I loved Ari's character. she
was relatable and endearing. Bane was a very likable hero and was
passionate. This was a sweet yet sensual short story that was enjoyable
to read.

All that was missing from this was John Travolta and Olivia Newton John
singing the soundtrack. "Hazel and the Alien Biker" Intergalactic Brides
book 5 was so good I had to read it a second time. The only critism I
had was that it ended too soon. Hazel has not only left a dead beat ex
but an abusive one and she shares the plight of a lot of mothers-she's
homeless with mouths to feed. Her three girls mean everything to her and
right when things can't get any worse an alien comes to her and her
girl's rescue. Reyvor had a mate and lost her to cancer before their
relationship could even blossom. He's been banned from his home world
and he's resorted to drinking his sorrows and seeing solance in a good
ride on his Harley. Then he meets up with a woman and three little girls
that steal his heart from the minute he lays eyes on them. What started
as a good deed grows into something much more. Hazel and Reyvor are
equally matched emotionally and that is what makes their story even more
endearing. This was a sweet, romantic, and sensual story.

Avelyn is trying to put her life back together after a horrific
experience and an abusive relationship. Thrace is a warrior and a new
dad. Neither of them ever contemplated a relationship but one forms. I
absolutely fell in love with this latest installment of the
Intergalactic Brides Series by Jessica Coulter Smith. The story is
tender, endearing, sensual, and passionate. I couldn't help getting a
little misty eyed over the the strength of Avelyn, her immediate
nurturing love of little Lily, the complications that she and Thrace
face, and the love that grows between the both of them. It is the
science fiction version of a story worthy of a Hallmark movie.
Absolutely loved it and highly recommend this book.

Victoria and the Alien Doctor is a wonderfully sweet yet sensual story
that will have your heart breaking, rejoycing, laughing, and hoping.
Victoria would do anything to save her daughter's life and Xonos wasn't
really looking for a mate let alone a family that included a dying
child. The romance that blossoms between Victoria and Xonos is hot but
it is the relationship between Xonos and Victoria's little girl, Evie,
that totally steals the show and heart. I loved this book and Jesica
Coulter Smith is an author worth getting to know.

I loved this book for so many reasons. Jessica Coulter Smith hit a home
run with this sweet, passionate, steamy, and witty story of Brielle and
Syl. Brielle is a human woman who has had it with cheating men. She
signs up for a bride program in the hopes of finding someone she can
build a life with. What she doesn't expect to find is true love instead
of just a spark. Syl has never thought of himself as anything but a
scientist for his people. He's put himself on the back burner for so
long that it takes seeing Brielle to finally get him to kick himself up
to 1st place and seek her out. I loved the story and the dynamics of
each character and how they fit together. I can't wait to read the rest
of the books in the series.

RATING: 4 Stars
If you’re looking for some light, fun reading, this one’s for you.
Sally Purdew is a fashion photographer in Whitby, Yorkshire. At the
opening of ‘Djinn and Tonic’, she’s preparing for a shoot that she hopes
will be a winner at the Alternative Fashion Awards, and is only waiting
for the right model. And then, that model walks in: not only the right model, but the perfect model.
Ashtad Parisa is unbelievably attractive, sexy, with a charming accent,
and he’s more than willing to do whatever Sal wishes.
But that’s exactly what Ash is there for, to do what Sal wants, because he’s specifically what she wished
for – he’s a Djinn, and he’s there to grant any and all of her wishes.
Not only does Sal get the perfect photo shoot, she falls into an
incredible romance, including a surprising visit to a beautiful tropical
beach. She finds herself believing that he really is the djinn he
claims to be, and she also begins to fall in love with him. This means
it just might be possible for Ash to get what he’s wishing for as well,
but for his wish to really come true, Sal has to truly accept who and
what he is.
‘Djinn and Tonic’ is a paranormal romance that’s interesting,
amusing, and easy to read. On my first reading, it helped me forget
that there was a blizzard going on outside my apartment walls, which was
just what I needed. I made myself wait a week before reading it again
in order to write this review, so I could be sure it wasn’t just a
desire to escape the miserable weather that made like the story. Well,
it wasn’t – today, the weather is absolutely gorgeous, and I enjoyed the
story every bit as much.
This is a reasonably original story. I would have liked it to be
longer, to have some more details about both Ash and Sal, and about the
background and the development of djinns. I would also have liked a
little more info about Sally’s friends, and her overall lifestyle.
Still, it was so much fun to read, that I’m more than willing to rate it
worth 4 stars, and again, I recommend it to anyone who’s in the mood
for a light, fun, nicely written romance.
I’m grateful for the reviewer’s copy I received.
