The Piano Tuner is a hot quick mystical read. Abigail is a gifted and talented pianist who is at the cusp of her career dream. Brent is cursed to never know touch or taste. The only way he can touch the little pianist who has snared his soul is by thought and only as the music plays. This is also a very erotic, sensual, and passionate story. My only critique is I wish it had been longer. It ended way too quickly. It is still worth a reader's time to read and enjoy.

Dragon's Heart: Dennenth's Darling by T. Cobbin was a sweet and passionate read. It is the story of a dragon shifter who finds a mate in a dedicated mother whose whole world revolves around her autistic child. After being rescued by a handsome red dragon, Sara finds that she is his true mate and he's not about to take "no" for an answer. However, Sara has her son, to think of plus she has an abusive and mentally unstable ex-husband to worry about. Dennenth says and does all the right things and Sara is falling pretty fast for him but what happens when the fairy tale ends and her real life comes calling? 
Dennenth will do anything for his mate. He accepts her son as his own but there's a part of Sara that she holds back from him. Dennenth isn't going to let her or little Freddie go without a fight. 
Dennenth's love and patience is endearing and how he so very quickly takes up the role of fatherhood where Freddie is concerned, is so sweet. Sara is a character that most women as well as mothers, will be able to identify with Sara. I recommend this book. It is a sweet love story with a great paranormal presence and a great message.

When I chose this book, I hoped that I would like it. I didn't just like it; I loved it. "Carpathian Blood" is not your typical Dracula romance story and I loved the fresh twist that Michelle Hoefle put on it. Vlad and Mack's chemistry is off the charts. This is a panty scorcher for sure but it is so much more. There is a really great story-a plot full of twists and turns that makes this a great thrill ride to read. I highly recommend this book. Is a "MUST READ".

Club Beam is one heck of a read. I loved it. LOVED IT. I highly recommend this book. It's got some hawt sauce bad boys and an outstanding story. This is definitely a leap and bound from the fairy tale books we had as kids. Club Beam's Dom Gideon Raines is nothing but sin on a stick ladies and the chemistry between him and Sydney is seductive and electrifying. The tag line, "When you play with monsters, sometimes they play back" is an understatement. I don't want to give the book away, but this is a MUST read and a MUST add to your TBR lists. Hot, entertaining, funny in parts, sad in a few, and it's a thrill ride you want to be on!

The Shadow Zone: Taking Julia by Isabella Jordan is a hot cha cha cha read. It is a great sci-fi book that involves futuristic space with the dystopian apocalyptic kick with some sexy and steamy scenes. Julia and Rick's chemistry is spot on and the adventure they go on is great. It kept me engaged and I can't wait to read more from Isabella Jordan. Julia is no damsel in distress-she is a total balls to the wall warrior woman and the reader really gets a clear picture of who she is and can relate to her vulnerabilities. Rick is just to die for. He's a strong character that will have you heading to that cold shower but he's more than just muscle and a steely exterior; he's the rugged hero we all love and adore. Great book.

REVIEW: Chasing the Dead by Keta Diablo

The Apache kidnapped me to dispel an evil ghost from their village. If I tell them I don’t possess the same skills my madre did, they’ll cut my throat and feed me to the dogs. Celesta was the best spirit chaser in all of New Mexico before she died.

I must say this book surprised me, and not in a bad way. I hadn't expected it to pack such a punch. I've always been a sucker for characters that have an unrelenting passion and one that won't quit no matter what obstacle is thrown their way. And Maddie and Deacon did not disappoint in this aspect. Their connection is so palpable you can literally feel it. 

 

But that's not the only reason I would rate this a 5 star book. I was pleasantly surprised to see that this wasn't just a western romance. It also has paranormal elements as well. Of which I won't delve into too much to avoid spoilers, but suffice it to say that this book didn't disappoint. 

 

I highly recommend Chasing the Dead by Keta Diablo for anyone who loves a great romance and a riveting plot line!

The Surrender of Julia (Now and Forever) has a lot to offer, from varying perspectives and a span of over a decade. There were so many surprises in this book, from Julia's past, to her present, including love triangles and overcoming personal obstacles and even a bit of self discovery. The erotic tones of the story were well done, with expressive and descriptive language that puts you right there in the room with Julia. The secondary characters are equally enthralling as their lives intertwine. 

A very well executed story on all accounts. Bravo to Tammy Dennings Maggy for bringing these characters to life!

This book presents readers with a very original view of Santa Claus and his Elves, and it is a fun story.  Ribbon Winters is a young woman working in her parents’ bookstore in Florida.  When you first meet her, she is suffering a burning sensation in her ears, and it turns out that her parents are two ‘Claus Elves’ who left the North Pole before her birth and do not intend to return.  However, Santa has sent one of his Elven spies, Draven North, to find them and bring them back.  Draven has been searching for 24 years, and finds them just as Ribbon learns about her true background.

 

This is the heart of ‘Ribbon of Darkness’: how Draven brings the missing elves back to the North Pole to save Santa’s world, and meets his true mate along the way.  It’s intriguing, with interesting characters facing a serious problem they must resolve.  I very much enjoyed reading it.  However, when I finished reading, I had several unanswered questions. I sincerely hope that subsequent books in this series will clear up this mystery, and others.

 

I give ‘Ribbon of Darkness’ a rating of 3.5 stars, because of the unanswered questions, and a somewhat intrusive encounter between Draven and his Sylvan Elf lover.  I like most of the characters, the handling of the Christmas elves, and the definite chemistry between Ribbon and Draven, but I don’t feel like I have read a complete story.

4 Stars - Be prepared for a very different Christmas!

Anna runs her late grandmother’s flower shop in Vermont, but due largely to some personal losses, she is not very happy about the Christmas season.  Now, she has learned that she is allergic to poinsettias and other holiday greenery, which doesn’t make it any easier.  Then, with Christmas hardly a day away, a new customer shows up, right at closing time.  Alexander is a very impressive Russian, visiting Vermont with his family, and the chemistry between him and Anna is immediate and explosively hot.  Throw in Anna’s friends, Alexander’s family, and two local brothers who want Anna for themselves, along with a few personal secrets, and you will be celebrating an intense holiday!

I rate this book worthy of 4 stars.  It is an original, tightly written holiday romance, set in a Vermont town that turns out to be just a bit unusual.  The characters are interesting and nicely portrayed, the romance is fast and VERY hot, and there are some wonderful surprises in store.  The only fault I found is that the romantic relationship gets too hot too soon – personally, I would have preferred a slightly slower introduction, giving the readers a little more time to meet the characters before the flames took over.  However, it was still well worth reading.
